For the Hong Island program, we will take you to enjoy 3 areas, Hong Island, Hong Island Lagoon, and Lao Lading Island. The highlight of Hong Island, besides the clear water beach and calm sea is the beauty of the limestone formations. You can walk up to the 360-degree view point and snap one-of-a-kind photos with tropical islands as a backdrop. The journey from Ao Nam Mau Pier to Hong Island takes about 40 minutes. Time will fly by on this chilled-out boat ride! Enjoy taking photos along the way and you will arrive before you know it!
Ao Nam Mao Pier
Start your trip at the meeting point "Ao Nam Mao Pier". Railay Eco Tour offer a free shuttle service for customers staying in the Ao Nang area. On arrival at Ao Nam Mao, check in and board the boat ready for when it heads to the first stop. Each trips schedule may change slightly according to the tide level.
Hong Island (Viewpoint)
It takes about 40 minutes to cruise from Ao Nam Mao Pier to Hong Island. The boat will dock so we can walk to the beach and settle the park fee at this point. Here you’ll be able to see the white sand through the clear water. Surrounding the beach are tall limestone cliffs. There is a new check in point on Hong Island, which is the Viewpoint of Hong Island boasting a magnificent 360-degree view. Walk up the stairs along the way and you'll find many island views in the area. Make the most of the view to take beautiful photos.
Hong Lagoon
Hong Lagoon is about a 10-minute ride from Hong Island. The entrance is surrounded by enormous limestone cliffs on both sides that creates a feeling you’re about to journey into a magical kingdom. Once inside, lucky visitors are presented with a stunning scene of a small emerald-blue lagoon, surrounded by mangrove trees. For a moment it’s easy to forget you are on an island in the middle of the sea. Take some time to see the beauty and absorb the atmosphere. Prepare a camera and photograph the boats head between the entrance's limestone hills for an incredible scene.
Lao Lading
Lao Lading is one of the Hong Islands that has 2 small sandy beaches. There is a beach where boats come to park and a small beach in the back. We find people prefer to swim on the front beach because of the beautiful view with a lot of photo opportunities. Here are scattered rocks and coconut trees that make memorable photos. In front of the beach, we can see that the water is clear, with many shoals of small fish swimming close by in the shallows.
* The program may be subject to change due to the weather, time spent at each spot and different tide level in each day.
